Weight gain does not have to be a normal function of aging.  

As we age, weight management does become more complicated as other imbalances affect our metabolism.  Insulin resistance from long-term consumption of sugary processed foods and drinks, the disruption of hunger hormones, estrogen dominance with menopause, a sluggish thyroid, excess cortisol, and toxins all play a role in weight gain. Even our genes can affect how we metabolize our foods and the signaling of important hormones.  

Most people feel the disappointment with their weight loss programs because they have not addressed the underlying imbalances.
